White Springs Public Library to host Noon Years celebration

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org Community members of all ages are invited to ring in the new year a little early during the White Springs Public Library’s special “Noon Years” celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 31. The event, which will begin at 11 a.m., will feature a countdown to noon—a more reasonable way to celebrate than traditional late-night New Year’s Eve festivities. The celebration will include snacks, drinks, music and other activities as the clock nears noon. Then, beginning at 12:30 p.m., the library invites participants to help create and seal a time capsule filled with library memorabilia and other items.
