Hearthstone Botanical Gardens (3300 134th Pl., Wellborn) will be holding its annual Plant Sale and Easter Egg Hunt from 9 a.m. to noon. Trees, shrubs, native plants, succulents, herbs, vegetables, perennials, grasses and more will be available at reasonable prices. The human society will also be available with pets looking for a good home. Admission is free.

Fall in Love With Books by attending Writers Ink’s free writing classes at the Live Oak Public Library (1848 Ohio Ave. S.). Classes will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a networking lunch at noon.

The Smith-Goolaby Reunion will be held at 11 a.m. at Divonia Baptist Church (7563 U.S. 129 S., Jasper). Family and friends are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring a covered dish to share.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., meet and greet the Friends of the Library at the Live Oak Public Library (1848 Ohio Ave. S.). Learn what they do to help keep the library running. Individuals interested in signing up to become a member will be able to do so during the event.

American Legion Post 107 (10726 142nd St., McAlpin) will be holding its annual Spring Yard Sale from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. Rental spaces (10 feet by 10 feet) are available. The Suwannee High School Class of 1980 will host its annual Class Picnic at the Rotary Centennial Pavilion at the First Federal Sportsplex (1201 Silas Dr. S.W., Live Oak). The event will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 24, and noon on Saturday, April 25. The cost to attend is $10 per day, with payment accepted upon arrival. Class members are invited to attend and reconnect for a weekend of fellowship and memories.

Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative will be holding its 89th annual Meeting of Members at the Suwannee County Coliseum (1302 11th St. S.W., Live Oak). Registration begins at 9 a.m., followed by the business meeting at 10 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct business of the cooperative and declare and install trustees. Meet the team, hear from co-op leadership, receive outcomes of the annual audit, and learn more about what’s ahead. A door prize drawing will follow the business portion of the meeting.

Mondays - Thursdays
Mayo Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Third District Community Center (3373 U.S. 27, Mayo). Beginners’ meetings are held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. Open discussion takes place at 10 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. “Big Book Study” takes place on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. For more information, call 386-867-5953.
Tuesdays - Sundays
"You want to drink? That's your business. You want to stop? That's our business." Join Live Oak's Alcoholics Anonymous group to discover a new way of life. Regular Live Oak AA meetings are held each week at 7 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays. Men-only meetings are held each Sunday at 8 a.m. and are followed by women-only meetings at 4 p.m. The group also holds Al-Anon and AlaTeen meetings every Sunday at 2 p.m., which are open to friends and family of all ages. Each session will be held in the building next to the Suwannee County Health Department (911 Nobles Ferry Rd., Live Oak).
Wednesdays and Thursdays
Let TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) help you with your weight management goals. TOPS is a weight-loss support group with two chapters that meet weekly in Live Oak. The Wednesday chapter meets at 9:15 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church (9989 C.R. 136). The Thursday chapter meets at 9 a.m. at First Advent Christian Church (699 Pinewood Dr. S.W.).
