Back-to-School events are happening left and right as the school year inches closer. The Wellborn Community Association, which has always been focused on supporting the Wellborn community, is hosting its own Back-to-School Bash for local students. The event, which is free to all attendees, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 9, from noon until 2 p.m. Visitors can expect a cookout, backpacks, supplies, coloring activities and clothes. The event will be held at the Wellborn Community Association, located at 1340 8th Ave.
