Veteran support groups planned

Rick Patrick editor@riverbendnews.org In response to requests, the Lee American Legion Post 422 will host Veterans support group meetings starting on Friday, Jan. 16. There will be two sessions that day. The first session will begin at 1 p.m. and will be open to all Veterans. There will also be a session exclusively for female Veterans at 3 p.m. A licensed counselor from Jacksonville, Fla., will facilitate the sessions. The legion hopes this will be the first in a continuing series of sessions. There is no charge for attendance at either session, and one does not have to be a member of the American Legion.
