UF/IFAS to host Walk Off the Holidays Food Drive

Jason Futch reporter2@riverbendnews.org The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Suwannee County Extension Office, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, will host the Walk Off the Holidays Food Drive on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the First Federal Sportsplex, located at 1201 S.W. Silas Dr. in Live Oak. It will be held from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. The event is held annually to benefit Catholic Charities. This year, participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item, such as canned goods, to donate.
