Entrepreneurs looking to turn their culinary skills into a business beyond their home kitchen will have an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the process. The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Extension will host a “Building a Food Business Outside the Home” workshop on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the UF/IFAS Extension in Alachua County, located at 22712 W Newberry Rd., in Newberry.
The session, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will guide aspiring food business owners through the early steps of launching a commercial food venture. The workshop aims to answer some of the most common question
