Town of White Springs honor Beautiful Dreamers during MLK event

The Town of White Springs honored local businesses and community contributors during its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration on Monday, Jan. 19, at the Tourism Center.
The celebration began with an MLK Walk through downtown White Springs, led by Mayor Tonja Brown. Participants then gathered at the Heritage Center for the formal program, which opened with a prayer by Pastor Tracie Mills of New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church.
After the walk, the White Springs Students Working Against Tobacco group led the Pledge of Allegiance. Vice Mayor Nichole Williams then welcomed attendees before everyone joined in singing βLi
