As the school year begins to wind down, summer sports for youth are starting to ramp up. Suwannee Youth Football and Cheerleading is leading that charge.
League registration is officially open, giving youth the chance to experience three different sports: flag football, tackle football and cheerleading. Sign-ups are open for all three online.
For flag football, registration fees are $100. Tackle football registration fees are $125, and is split into three age groups: 8U, 10U and 12U. Finally, cheerleading registration fees are $125.
These offer younger children a great opportunity to participate in team sports and get experience on the field.
Additionally, registration for the Fifth Annual Dog Pound Camp is also open. The camp is open to children ages 5 to 12. It will be held on the Suwannee High School Practice Field on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to noon. Lunch is included for participants. Attendees are requested to wear cleats and gym shorts.
To register for any of the options, visit the Suwannee Youth Football and Cheerleading Facebook page.
