Suwannee Middle School raises over $1,000 during Pink Wars Week

By Suwannee Middle School, Contributor Suwannee Middle School (SMS) is hosting a Pink Wars Week in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this week from Monday, Oct. 18, through Friday, Oct. 22. All proceeds from Pink Wars Week will be donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of all the brave warriors that have fought breast cancer. The Pink Wars will culminate in a Pink Out charity volleyball game between the Big Bend Champions SMS girls’ volleyball team and the SMS Bullpup football team on Thursday, Oct. 28 28, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the SMS gym.
