Suwannee County Emergency Management Director named Disasters Expo USA keynote

Jason Futch Reporter2@riverbendnews.org Suwannee County Emergency Management Director Heather Henderson-Scheu will be serving as the keynote speaker at the Disasters Expo USA conference at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Wednesday, March 4. Not only will she be the keynote speaker during one of the events, but she will also serve as an expo judge. The event concludes on Thursday, March 5.  “I am both humbled and honored to have been selected as a keynote speaker and disaster expo judge,” Henderson-Scheu said. “It is a great opportunity to be able to educate the public and other colleagues on the challenges rural fiscally-constrained communities face in times of disaster.”�
