Suwannee Commissioners hear updates on Suwannee County Fire Rescue plans

On Tuesday, June 17, the Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. They began by approving the minutes from the previous three meetings, then called for public comment, to which there were multiple responses.
The first to stand up was Wayne Hannaka, representing Concerned Citizens of North Florida. This week, he provided detailed information about the Suwannee County Tax Collector's Office. He spoke about the services the office provides, including the fact that, on average, the Tax Collector's Office sees 300 people a day, and during tax season, an average of 500 people a day.
