SCSD launches Summer Feeding Program

Danny Federico  reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com The Suwannee County School District (SCSD) Food Services Department is once again offering free meals to children through its Summer Feeding Program. The initiative ensures that no child in the community goes hungry while school is out of session. Meals are available at two open sites: Suwannee High School, located at 1314 Pine Ave., in Live Oak, and Branford Elementary School, located at 26801 FL 247. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., followed by lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program is open to all individuals under the age of 18. In addition to on-site meals, non-congregant meal kits containing food f
