Life in the United States varies a lot from one area to another. Northern states grow their veggies in the summer, but down here, it is too hot even for the tomatoes. The west coast boasts the Pacific Ocean, but compared to the Gulf we know and love, the waves and temperature in the Pacific hinder our ability to swim at leisure. Florida is accustomed to preparing for hurricanes, while midwesterners listen for tornado alarms.
