Santa and Mrs. Claus visits Jennings

Jason Futch reporter2@riverbendnews.org The cancellation of the Jennings Christmas Parade didn’t stop Santa and Mrs. Claus from ringing in the Christmas season. On Thursday, Dec. 18, Jennings Town Hall hosted the annual Children’s Christmas Party. The afternoon was filled with cheer as children from across Jennings had the opportunity to get their photos taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. During the party, Santa provided the children with gifts ranging from toy cars to sports balls, while the elves at Santa’s workshop offered cookies and candy. The Town of Jennings, Jennings Volunteer Fire Department, Jennings Public Works Department, and Samantha Preuter sponsored the Children
