Riverside Elementary SRO completes D.A.R.E. Officer Training Program

Hailey Waldo Riverbend News Suwannee Riverside Elementary is celebrating the achievement of School Resource Officer Rashard Fleming after he completed the 80-hour D.A.R.E. Officer Training Program. The D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program is a nationally recognized initiative designed to help students develop skills to make safe and responsible choices, build confidence, resist peer pressure and strengthen decision-making.  Officer Fleming completed the two-week training program and earned his D.A.R.E. certification alongside his mentor, Captain Angela Holmes of the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office.
