Michael Owen Myrick 10 July 1945 – 14 October 2020

Mickey Myrick, 75, a longtime resident of Mayo, died in his home in Lake City of natural causes on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020. He leaves behind many good memories with his cousins, John and Charles Hewett and family of Mayo; cousins, Patsy Keadle and Charlene Turner and family of Inman, S.C.; and his brother, Steve Myrick of Palm Springs, Calif. Mickey lived in Mayo with his dearest and most favorite aunt, Ellie Hewett, a more interesting combo of "housemates" could not be found. As Mickey wished, memorial services were held on the steps of their much-loved Pinson Memorial Methodist Church in his home-town of Sylvester, Ga.
