McAlpin Homeschool Co-op invites families to “Adventure Begins Here” Open House

Hailey Waldo Riverbend News Families interested in homeschooling are invited to discover a welcoming community of learning during the McAlpin Homeschool Co- Op Open House on Friday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, located at 14364 140th St., in Live Oak.  This year’s theme, “Adventure Begins Here,” promises an exciting school year. A highlight of the new school year will be each student’s personal “learning passport,” which will guide them through educational adventures while allowing them to earn passport stamps as they explore science, history, art, engineering, nature, world cultures, field trips and many other engaging subjects.  The
