Lonnie Eldon Combass

Lonnie Eldon Combass, age 84, of Jasper, Fla. passed away on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 (just shy of his 85th birthday) at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Fla., due to complications from a long-term illness. Combass was born in Hamilton County, Florida on Dec. 27, 1936 and was one of eight children born to the late Henry and Lenora Deas Combass. He attended Hamilton County Schools until it became necessary, as it was so often for young men in the 30's and 40's to leave school and go to work on the farms to help support the family.
