During its January meeting, the Live Oak Garden Club honored guest speaker Carolyn Saft by awarding her honorary membership with the club. Saft, an agent with the Suwannee County UF/IFAS Extension, has worked closely with the garden club for the past 19 years. During this time, she has provided valuable gardening programs, workshops and advice to club members. Saft is the only non-member to have received honorary membership in the club’s 90-year history.
