Lafayette Elementary School students in grades kindergarten through fifth are invited to participate in this year’s Little Miss LHS pageant, organized by Lafayette High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter.
The pageant will take place on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 3 p.m., with practices taking place the week prior. A mandatory parent meeting and practice is set for Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 5:30 p.m., which will also serve as the sign-up opportunity. A second practice will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, also at 5:30 p.m.
Categories in which participants will compete include Hornet-themed wear and formal gowns.
For more information or to sign up, parents are encouraged to attend the mandatory meeting on Aug. 12. A $40 registration fee will apply.
The pageant and practices will take place at the high school, located at 160 NE Hornet Dr., in Mayo.
