Lafayette Commission tour new annex building

The commissioners first opened as the board of adjustments to consider two resolutions. The first resolution was a special exception request from Earl Byrd, J.W. Byrd and Paul Byrd for permission to put a vehicle storage building on the lot adjacent to their store. Building and Zoning Director Garrett Land explained that the trio planned to use it to store Florida Highway Patrol vehicles after an accident, as there was nowhere in the county for such storage.
