John Lacy DuBose

John Lacy DuBose, 72, of Lake City, passed away on Monday morning, April 21, 2025 at his residence, after an extended illness. He was born in MacClenny, Florida on February 14, 1953 to the late Charles Henry and Lillian McCormick DuBose. He has made Lake City his home most of his life and was of the Baptist Faith. He worked for many years with the Lake City Police Department, retiring in 2008 as a Major. He was a member of the Low Pro Hunting Club, and in his spare time, also enjoyed fishing. He is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Hill. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Frances DuBose of Lake City; daughters, Donna Loadholtz (Dennis) of Sanderson and Lacey DuBose of MacClenny; s
