JoAnn Adams Shotwell, 68, of White Springs, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 7, at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee after a brief illness. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on April 2, 1953, to the late Paul and Joyce Adams. She has made the White Springs area her home since 1998, moving from the Dallas, Texas, area. Shotwell was a homemaker, as well as the owner of the Country Café with her late husband for over nine years. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach, playing games on her iPad, game nights with her family, as well as spending time with her children, but more especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
