Jeannette “Jan” Estep

Jeannette “Jan” Estep, 82, of Live Oak, Fla., passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Estep was born on March 14, 1940, in Watertown, S.D., to the late Eva (Davis) and Oliver Mitchell. Estep was the matriarch of the family and was always proud of her family and their accomplishments. She grew up with simple joys in life. Her first job was as a cashier in South Dakota. Estep loved being with and helping people. In 1982, a life change brought Estep to Florida, where she worked for the Veteran’s Administration in Miami for over 17 years. She was an outdoors girl.
