James Cooper, 82, transitioned to be with his Savior on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, in Lake City. Viewing will be held on Friday, Feb. 19, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home in Live Oak. Graveside services are being held on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at the St. James A.M.E. Church in Live Oak. (CDC Guidelines will be followed). Cooper leaves his loving and devoted wife, Ella Greene Cooper; his daughter, LaTasha Cooper of Atlanta, Ga.; his sons, Rodney Cooper (Susan) of Ypsilanti Mich. and Winston Cooper (Robin) of Clarksville, Va.; five grandchildren; Rodney James Cooper, Tariq D.
