The Hamilton County Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Coalition is the county’s premier program for keeping children and teens from alcohol and substance abuse. The program, led by Pastor Brandon Bowden, has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hamilton County’s youth by focusing on education and prevention.
The organization was founded in 2003, with Grace McDonald leading the charge to educate schoolchildren about drug and alcohol prevention. After several active years, Emily Lumpkin took over as executive director.
