Florida announces Hunting, Fishing and Camping Sales Tax Holiday

Residents across Florida will have the chance to save on outdoor supplies this fall through the state’s Hunting, Fishing and Camping Sales Tax Holiday, which began on Monday, Sept. 8, and will continue through Wednesday, Dec. 31.
The sales tax holiday applies to a variety of equipment. Items exempt from sales tax include ammunition, firearms, bows, crossbows and related accessories, including charging handles, cleaning kits, holsters, pistol grips, sights or optics, stocks, arrows, bolts, quarrels, quivers, releases and wrist guards.
