F.A.Y.C. 2026 impacts hundreds of young lives

More than 230 campers, counselors and volunteers gathered at Camp Suwannee in Dowling Park from Sunday, July 19, through Friday, July 24, for First Assembly Youth Camp (F.A.Y.C.) 2026, bringing young people from across the area together for a week centered on faith, fellowship and fun.

Throughout the week, campers participated in a variety of activities designed to create meaningful experiences while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ. The camp included Kids Camp, Youth Choir, sports and recreation, Christian team-building activities and three meals each day.

A central part of the week was worship, with campers gathering for two worship services each day. Through worship, teaching and time spent together, the camp provided opportunities for young people to grow in their faith and hear the message of the Gospel in an environment built specifically for them.

Beyond the scheduled activities, F.A.Y.C. also allowed campers to form new friendships and create memories with fellow participants, counselors and volunteers. The combination of recreation, teamwork, worship and fellowship made for a full week focused on both spiritual growth and community.

One of the most significant aspects of F.A.Y.C. is that every child can attend free of charge. The camp is made possible through the generosity of local churches, supporters, volunteers and community fundraisers, allowing financial circumstances to not prevent a child from participating.

That commitment to accessibility shows the larger mission behind F.A.Y.C.: creating an opportunity for young people to experience God's love and develop a stronger foundation of faith.

The week also highlighted what can happen when churches and community members work together toward a common purpose. Through the combined efforts of those who support, organize and volunteer with the camp, hundreds of young people were able to spend a week surrounded by others who share their faith and desire to make a positive difference in the lives of the next generation.
