Exciting news for Hamilton County EMS

Ady Hammock editor@riverbendnews.org The Florida Department of Health recently awarded the Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services (HCEMS) with a grant through the Rural EMS Grant Program. HCEMS’s application ranked first in Florida, and this grant will allow for HCEMS to improve care, safety and resources. In a Facebook post, HCEMS shared that with the funding, it will be buying several new pieces of equipment, including a new cardiac monitor and powered stretchers. “This is another big step forward in our mission to provide the highest level of care to the citizens and visitors of Hamilton County,” said HCEMS.
