Elks Lodge donates money and toys for Christmas

Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnews.org The Live Oak Elks Lodge is dedicated to supporting the local community, and during the Christmas season its focus turns to helping the area’s children. Each year, the Elks Lodge partners with Annita Leonard of Toys for Tots in Wellborn to provide toys for children throughout Suwannee County. Lodge members and community volunteers work together to collect donations for the program. Additionally, the Elks National Foundation donates $2,000 for Toys for Autism. On Friday, Dec. 12, Cathy Davis, Exalted Ruler, presented the collected toys along with the $2,000 check to Leonard for the Toys for Tots program in Wellborn.
