Families are invited to celebrate the Easter season at a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, at Hatch Park in Branford.
Hosted by Ash Grove Cement and the Rotary Club of Branford, this free event will feature more than 6,000 eggs, along with a variety of activities for children and families, including face painting, crafts, music and games. Attendees can also enjoy a bounce house, food vendors, door prizes and a special visit from the Easter Bunny.
Gates will open at 11 a.m., with egg hunts scheduled by age group throughout the day. The schedule includes: ages 3 and under at 11:30 a.m.; pre-kindergarten at 11:45 a.m.; kindergarten through first grade at 11:45 a.m.; kindergarten through first grade at noon; 12:15 p.m. — second through fourth grade at 12:15 p.m.; and fifth grade at 12:30 p.m.
Each hunt will take place at the Hatch Park ball fields, located at 403 Craven St. S.E., in Branford.
