Douglas “Dan” Nix

We are sad to announce that Dan Nix, as we all knew him, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14th, 2023 after a brief illness. Dan is survived by his beautiful wife of 30 years, Gayle. He was a loving father to daughter Paula Hevey (Matt), stepdaughter Angie Sparks (Michael), stepson Lee Harden (Brandie). Four sisters, Lynda Snider, Candy Godfrey, Judie Butterfield and Holly. Dan was also a proud Papa to his grandchildren Brittany Bell (Rob), Cheyenne Hevey, Aiden Hevey, Erin Sparks (Dominik), Erica May (Tim), Dakota Davis-Harden, Lillian Harden, Owen Harden, and Wade Harden. Dan also had nine great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother
