Community invited to donate school supplies for local students

As families prepare for the upcoming school year, Vivid Visions Inc. is asking the community to help local students have the supplies they need to begin the 2026-27 school year. The organization’s annual school supply drive will benefit youth participants served by the local domestic violence center. Donations of classroom essentials can make a meaningful difference for children and families as they prepare to return to school. 

Needed items include backpacks, notebook paper, folders, spiral and composition notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, binders, dry erase markers, calculators, USB flash drives, earbuds, reusable water bottles and lunch boxes. Hygiene and classroom care items such as facial tissues, paper towels, baby wipes and zip-top bags are also being accepted. 

Drop-offs may be left at Radiant Credit Union, located at 2231 Ohio Ave. N., in Live Oak, or at Vivid Visions Inc., located at 1365 Ohio Ave. N., in Live Oak.
