Carolyn B. Bishop

Carolyn B. Bishop, 74, of Alapaha, Ga., died on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 5, 1951, in Orlando, Fla., to the late James Roscoe Brown and the late Betty Eloise Haas. She was a homemaker and was a member of Nashville Methodist Church. In her own words, she was the wife of the best United Methodist Preacher in the South Georgia Annual Conference, loved her family, graduated from Valdosta High School Class of 1969, and most of all, a child of the "King." She is the widow of Rev. Henry Dwight Bishop who died in 2024 and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Michelle Bishop Todd.
