Brown refuses to resign as mayor amid allegations of charter violations

During the meeting, Brown claimed her paperwork was incorrect and stated she was not comfortable proceeding with the meeting, slamming her gavel and calling for adjournment without consulting the Council. The rest of the Council refused to adjourn the meeting, which prompted Brown to threaten to sue them if they proceeded.
