Branford Greenway glows with Light Up Ceremony

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org Residents and visitors filled the Greenway in Branford on Thursday, Dec. 4, for a special Light Up Ceremony presented by Branford 4-H. As soon as the sun fell below the trees at 5 p.m., individuals of all ages flocked to the Greenway for games, crafts, hot cocoa and cookies, all sponsored by the Orchard Church. A snow machine ensured the town ushered in a white Christmas, and a Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Eating Competition provided entertainment for kids and adults alike.
