Bobby Ray "BR549" Sistrunk, age 85, of Live Oak. passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City. Sistrunk was born in White Springs. on June 24, 1936, to the late Talmadge and Jessie Wooten Sistrunk. He left school to join the United States Army and served his country honorably. Sistrunk retired from Occidental Chemical Company, where he worked in a supervisory position. He was a longtime resident of White Springs and would likely have died there were it not for losing his home to a house fire in 2015.
