Back on the Court

Andrea Deas Westwood Christian School Writer Volleyball season is back at Westwood Christian School! Westwood's volleyball program started in 2017 and, in 2022, they expanded the program further by introducing J.V. (Junior Varsity). The past coach, Mr. Mowry, stepped down from volleyball, but stayed on as the Athletic Director. We are sorry to see him go, but are excited to introduce the new coach, Mrs. Valerio. Mrs. Valerio has played volleyball for 27 years. Her goals for volleyball this season are to “Be better than yesterday, win one point of practice.” The team's volleyball verse is Isaiah 43:19 (NIV).
