Local artists and community members are invited to take part in “Art in the Open,” a community art showcase celebrating patriotism in Jasper on Tuesday, April 7.
Hosted by Sweets on Hatley, the event will feature a variety of patriotic-themed artwork as part of an evening focused on art, community and appreciation for the country. Artists of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate by displaying work inspired by the theme of patriotism.
Accepted mediums include canvas, wood, photography, mixed media and youth artwork, along with other Americana-inspired pieces.
In addition to the art displays, attendees can enjoy appetizers and beverages during the event.
Art in the Open will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Jasper along Central Avenue.
