ARI looks back on a spring full of activity

The spring semester was bustling with activity for the Aucilla Research Institute (ARI). Their educational outreach program brought interactive experiences in history and archaeology across North Florida, with the intent of informing and inspiring the next generation of Floridians.
Throughout the season, ARI continued their ongoing student-assisted excavation at Trelawn Plantation in Drifton. Students from Jefferson County Schools and local homeschoolers accompanied ARI's professionals to a property that was first built on as a plantation during the 1830s.
