A line of heroes: Celebrating Lineworker Appreciation Day

In a state frequently impacted by storms, the importance of lineworkers is widely understood. When the power goes out after a hurricane and residents are left waiting in the dark, there are few people they want to see more than a lineworker. Riverbend News sat down with linemen from Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) to learn more about this essential and often overlooked profession.
