Accident results in fatality on I-75

Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com In the early hours of Wednesday, Jan. 17, a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 in Alachua County claimed the life of a 29-year-old Jasper woman. According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, the incident involved a tractor-trailer driven by a 25-year-old man from Minneapolis, Minn., and a sedan operated by the Jasper resident. The report states the tractor-trailer was traveling northbound in the center lane on I-75, north of Alachua. Simultaneously, the sedan was traveling in the right outside lane ahead of the tractor-trailer.
