34th annual letter carriers “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive is May 9

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) is celebrating the 34th anniversary of the “Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive,” the largest one- day food drive in the country. United Way and the AFL-CIO are proud to be founding partners. Thanks to generous donors leaving food in or near their mailboxes since 1992, together we’ve collected nearly two billion pounds of food. Postmaster Aida Jordan, of the Live Oak Post Office, along with Alison Crutchfield, of the Wellborn Post Office, will be coordinating the event for Suwannee County.
