Zakk Womble awarded Leaders for Life fellowship

A new world has opened up for 17-year-old Suwannee High School (SHS) senior Zakk Womble following the announcement last month that he was one of six students selected to receive the Leaders for Life fellowship.
The fellowship, provided by Take Stock in Children and the Asofsky Family Foundation, awards $40,000 to high-achieving seniors for non-tuition costs, leadership training, and mentorship.
The Asofsky family, based in Delray Beach, Fla., has awarded the fellowship since 2009 with the ultimate goal of eliminating the financial burdens often associated with a university education and allowing the fellows to devote their full attention to
