Writers Ink to host short story contest

Writers Ink, a local writing class that meets at the Live Oak Public Library, is hosting a short story writing contest for all high school students in Hamilton, Lafayette and Suwannee Counties.
The contest, called “Country Currents: Where the river runs slow and the stories run deep,” is open to all high school students, grade 9s through 12, who are either in public, private or homeschools. Writers Ink is looking for original short stories from local, unpublished teens who bring tales of small city life. Whether the story winds like a country road or drifts like a lazy river, the Writers Ink wants to read it.
