Writers INK continues to get the word out

By Mickey Starling Riverbend News Since 2013, Writers INK has been meeting to help fellow writers sharpen their skills and publish their books. Jonnie Whittington and Delores Leggett Walker began the group and they have since helped 20 writers to successfully cross the publishing hurdle. At times, the group has grown to large numbers of writers who have benefitted from the wise counsel and insights gained from their fellow writers. Every Tuesday, at 10 a.m., the group meets at the Lafayette County Public Library and everyone present has the opportunity to read a portion of their latest writings.
