Women of the Word resumes monthly fellowship meetings

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org The Women of the Word group is back for a new year of fellowship and devotion. The group invites both new and returning members to participate in its monthly meetings held every second Friday of the month at 6 p.m. Meetings will include dinner, devotion, prayer and fellowship. The ministry kicked off its 2026 schedule with a meet-and-greet event on Friday, May 1, to introduce its plans for the year ahead while also providing attendees a tour of the church amenities. The group’s next meeting will take place on Friday, June 12. Women of the Word meets at First Baptist Church of Dowling Park, located at 11274 235th Ln. For more information or to
