Woman’s Club of Jasper holds annual Chili/Soup Cook-off

Delores Howell Contributor On Saturday, Jan. 10, the Woman’s Club of Jasper held its annual Chili/Soup Cook-off with 12 entries participating. For the Chili competition, Philip Cowart won first place with his Caveman Chili 2.0, and Bozeman Land Management’s chili took second place. In the Soup division, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office won with its White Chicken entry, and Tiffanie Shakespeare’s Soups R Us took second place. There was great attendance and support from the community. Nearly 100 local families, friends and neighbors sampled chili and soups from the winning entries, along with entries from Rustic Vegetable Soup, Po Livin’ Chili, Chili Today: H
