Wildflower Festival blooms despite rainy start

Danny Federico [email protected] Despite the rainy start to the morning, community members still gathered at Heritage Parks & Gardens on Saturday, May 2, for the return of the annually anticipated Wildflower Festival and Plant Sale. Attendees were able to enjoy a day full of activities, entertainment and educational presentations. The event actually kicked off the evening prior, on Friday, May 1, as families gathered at Heritage Trail for “Chalk Art on the Trail” followed by a special screening of the movie, “A Bug’s Life” at Heritage Park.
