White Springs renames street after oldest resident

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, Nov. 14, the White Springs Town Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began with public comments. First to speak was Sharon Shea, who gave the council an update that White Springs had been named a Greenway Florida Trails Town. The council was also told that the White Springs Historic Preservation Society had been restarted and had already been recommended for a grant for new signs and a walking tour brochure. A website has also been set up for the society and anyone can sign up to become a member. Next to speak was Robert Gamsby, who told the council there would be a zoning meeting on Monday, Nov. 20. T
